Chef Domo.

I have been working on not being a worrier. Yesterday, at my best friend’s baby shower I found myself preparing three dishes for over thirty people who would surely tell me if my recipes were crappy. My mind began to race. What if I was one of those people who thought they were good at something, but in reality they were not? That mentality lasted for like, ten seconds. I remembered watching my mommy cook as a child and remembering all of the tips that she had taught me. My potato salad, devilled eggs, and meatballs were a hit. A lady twice my age even asked for my meatball recipe. I looked around and watched people eat the food I prepared and immediately go in for a second taking. I think that if I had kept the negative attitude, the shower would not have been a success. Also, I am a country girl and we are comfortable in a kitchen. All I was missing was a little apron.
darling, domo
