Two Writers.

I finally found that friend that allows me to read Emily Dickinson poems to him on the phone. I listen to his philosophies. He loves Ayn Rand. He admires Gandhi. He listens to my social rants and encourages me to always keep an open mind. I assure him that true friendship does exist. We are both introverts with a fear of opening up to others and sometimes we do not have the desire to invite people in.  Aside from finishing each other’s thoughts and sentences after less than a week of meeting, I was floored to find someone just  as obsessed with writing as I am. When I first saw him, his beauty struck me, but now I am even more intrigued. When I tell him that I am endlessly in love with words, I do not get the typical judgmental or puzzled stare. He shares the same love. We can be ourselves and I assure him that his thoughts are not weird, they are his.  Oddly enough, our thoughts are usually the same.

Here is a beautiful poem that he wrote about yours truly.

Style. Grace. Elegance. Beauty. Under no circumstance can I admit to myself that you are anything less than special. Strength. Compassion. Words are beautiful and yet none can describe the firm gentleness that emits in the spaces you enter.Love. For every one man that fades your heart recluses from another but yet it stays open. Talent. Nothing short of amazing, so do not be afraid as it only shines when utilized. Friendship. Lover. There are very few things I desire more than the companionship of someone as extraordinary as you. Fear. Acceptance. Relief. Life gives us what we request only to find out that we are paralyzed to obtain complete freedom. You. An Unimaginable human that could not be anything short of angelic.
I feel the same.
darling, domo
